The mission of Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 is to provide innovative learning experiences which empower each student to excel and make a difference in a diverse and interconnected world. Our vision is to be “Leaders in Learning” – the premier educational organization.

Laura B. Sprague, Half Day and Daniel Wright Junior High Schools are sources of pride in the community. Each of the schools has received the distinguished Blue Ribbon Schools Award from the U.S. Department of Education for educational excellence. Standardized test scores rank District 103 students in the top tier on the Illinois Standard Achievement Test with 97.2% of all students meeting or exceeding State benchmarks.

The District 103 Board of Education consists of seven members, elected at large. The Board determines policies and long-range performance goals, employs personnel to manage the district, gives direction to curriculum, adopts and oversees a yearly budget, evaluates and assesses staff and instructional programs and maintains facilities.
