Road Construction Updates

2014 Road Resurfacing Project

The Village of Lincolnshire will be resurfacing approximately one (1) mile of roadway this year. The project roads consist of Brunswick Lane, Dukes Lane, Dukes Circle, and Dukes Court (map attached). This construction project is funded by the State Motor Fuel Tax and by local general funds. Along with other facets of the project, the Village will be replacing approximately 6,000 feet of curb and gutter, approximately 1,200 feet of storm sewer improvements, and will be placing over 2,000 tons of asphalt material.

The Village is in the process of meeting with the contractor to discuss schedule, but Village Staff has already started marking the project limits and curb and gutter to be removed. During the project, there will be large equipment and trucks traveling on these streets. Please talk to your children about the dangers of playing near excavations, equipment and material stockpiles. With your patience and cooperation, the project will proceed smoothly.
