Village Emergency Notification

At its Regular Village Board Meeting of April 25, 2011, the Village Board of Trustees approved:

  • The use of North Park for Boo Fest to be held on October 28, 2011.

  • A contract with M-C Sports Systems, Inc., Barrington, IL, to resurface the Spring Lake Park Tennis Court.

  • An Ordinance for the replacement of the existing resort signage at Marriott’s Lincolnshire Resort to permit animated/moving video on an electronic display screen previously approved for the main resort monument sign on Milwaukee Avenue.

  • The Village’s insurance package for 2011-12.

  • A contract with Peter Baker and Sons Contractors, Lake Bluff, IL, for the construction of the Village’s 2011 Street Resurface Project.

At its Regular Village Board Meeting of April 11, 2011, the Village Board of Trustees approved:

  • An Ordinance regarding a Plat of Resubdivision for the “Lincolnshire Downtown”.

  • An Architectural Review Board recommendation regarding text amendments to address a variety of issues related to the Lincolnshire Sign Control.

  • Participation in the Lake County Partners Private Activity Bond Clearinghouse Program.

  • An Ordinance Approving the Village’s participation in the Northeast Illinois Invasive Plant Partnership.

  • A Professional Service Agreement with Soils and Materials Consultants to provide construction materials testing services for fiscal year 2011.

  • A request from the Des Plaines River Association for use of the Rivershire Park Canoe launch as a take-out location for the Annual Des Plaines River Canoe and Kayak Marathon.

  • An Ordinance granting variations to the Village Code to permit construction of a detached accessory structure (fence) on vacant property at 6 Half Day Road.

  • An Ordinance regarding an Architectural Review Board recommendation for a replacement monument sign on Route 22 at Marriott’s Lincolnshire Resort.

  • A contract to Spring Green Lawn Care, of Plainfield, for the Annual Weed Control and Fertilizer Application Program.

  • A Professional Service Contract with the Alaniz Landscape Group to provide and install trees on residential and public property.

  • A Professional Service Contract with TruGreen of Lake Forest, IL to treat ash trees for Emerald Ash Borer.

  • A Park Board recommendation to provide Field Usage Time to the Highwood Braves as an affiliate of the Spring Lake Sports League.

  • An Ordinance amending the Articles of Agreement for the Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County.

At its Regular Village Board Meeting of March 14, 2011, the Village Board of Trustees approved:

  • An Ordinance Granting Variations for the installation of a new wall sign for Penny Mustard Furnishings, located at 625 Milwaukee Avenue.

  • An Ordinance Making Appropriations to Defray All Necessary Expenses and Liabilities for the Village of Lincolnshire for the Fiscal Year Beginning January 1, 2011 and Ending December 31, 2011.

  • An Intergovernmental Agreement with the Solid Waste Agency of Lake County for Electronics Recycling.

  • Acceptance of a Sanitary Sewer on Elm Road.

  • An Ordinance Amending the Village Code regarding Tree Preservation and Landscaping.

  • An Ordinance Amending the Village Code regarding Air Pollution and Open Burning.

  • An Ordinance Amending the Village Code regarding Obstructions in the Right-of-Way.

  • A contract with Municipal Well and Pump, Waupun, Wisconsin, for repairs to the North Park Well.

At its Regular Village Board Meeting of February 28, 2011, the Village Board of Trustees approved:

  • A Resolution for Maintenance of Streets and Highways by Municipality under the Illinois Highway Code - January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.

  • An Intergovernmental Agreement with the Cities of Highland Park and Lake Forest to Jointly Bid the 2011 MFT Resurfacing Project.

  • An Ordinance Amending Chapter 15 of Title 1 Comprehensive Fee Schedule of the Lincolnshire Village Code to Update Water Meter Fees.

  • An Ordinance Authorizing Execution of the Illinois NEIMAN Mutual Aid Agreement.

  • The Village of Lincolnshire Emerald Ash Borer Management Plan.

  • The purchase of one Police Squad through the State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Program in an amount not to exceed $23,000.

  • The purchase of one SUV through the State of Illinois Joint Purchasing Program in an amount not to exceed $29,500.

  • A request to obtain Field Usage Time for the Lake County Coyotes as an Affiliate of the Spring Lake Sports League subject to having at least two Lincolnshire residents as participants on the team.

  • An Ordinance amending the Annexation Agreement and designated Lot 6 of Unit l of the Lincolnshire Center for Business as an “Area of Special Control” to modify the approved sign criteria and sign plans associated with the Viper Alley music and bowling venue in the CityPark of Lincolnshire development.

  • An Ordinance amending the Special Use for a Planned Unit development that granted approval of a 78,300 square foot mixed-used retail development on Lot 6 of Unit l of the CityPark of Lincolnshire, ECD Subdivision, to modify the approved sign plans associated with Viper Alley Music and bowling venue in the CityPark of Lincolnshire development.
