Tips for Shoveling Your Snow

The best way to assure that the snow plows clearing the street will minimize the amount of snow left in your already cleared driveway is to shovel snow to your right as you face the street, and also make a pocket on the left side of your driveway. See illustration.

Snow that has accumulated on the plow will dump into that pocket and not entirely on your cleared driveway. By doing this, you will reduce the possibility of snow plows inadvertently making your driveway snow-bound again.
