No Skating or Sledding at Rivershire Park

Please be aware that there is no skating or sledding allowed at Rivershire Park.

Skating is strictly prohibited due to uncertain ice conditions. Warm currents in Lincolnshire Creek and the Des Plaines River make ice conditions dangerous. If you wish to skate, go to Spring Lake Park or North Park when signs state that ice conditions are safe. Rivershire Park does not have any hills adequate for sledding. Hills adjacent to Rivershire Park are located on private property. Please be advised that these areas are not for public use.
