Village Sign Code

Following the June 22, 2009 Village Board meeting, the proposed text amendments to Title 12, Sign Control, of the Lincolnshire Village Code for the purpose of replacing the entire current Sign Control Title, and all associated Chapters, with a revised Sign Control Title has received Village Board approval and will be in full force and effect from and after July 1, 2009.

The revised Sign Code is a result of a series of workshops conducted by the Village Board and the Architectural Review Board, together with the Planning Staff and the Village’s sign consultants (Camiros), to review every facet of the current Sign Code and analyze changes that would satisfy the need for adequate site identification and continue to promote the aesthetic values and physical appearance of the Village.
