The Village Staff and the contractor will travel the project and prepare a punch list of items next week. These issues should be completely resolved shortly, depending on the outcome of the recent Laborer and Operating Engineer’s strike.

Many residents have contacted the Village regarding the large weeds growing in the newly planted restoration areas. The contractor used the proper seed and fertilizer mixes. To remedy this issue, the best thing to do is to cut these areas along with your normal lawn maintenance. The grass will begin to come in as the areas get watered.

As a reminder, all restoration work that was completed will need to be watered by the individually affected residents.

Staff will provide updates as information becomes available.
