Downtown Site Preparation Project

The contractor has completed the final grading and temporary stabilization of the large storm water basin. Excavation of the compensatory storm water storage basin is complete and will begin to take shape during the construction of the retaining wall scheduled next week. Additionally, the contractor is scheduled to begin installing the required utilities and fine grading along the south side of Indian Creek. This work will entail creating a gradual slope and installing stabilization measures along the creek. We have decided to relocate the unnamed tributary next month due to weather. The project is on schedule to be completed by the middle of October.
