Picnic Permits

Large group picnics in Village parks require a permit. Permit applications are required for groups of 30 or more and are restricted to specific parks.

• Large group picnics are gatherings of 30 or more people
• A $10 fee is charged for a picnic permit
• A $50 refundable deposit is required for a picnic permit
• The maximum number of people allowed for a large group picnic are:
  • North Park Concession Area - 200 people
  • North Park Picnic Pavilion - 40 people
  • Bicentennial Park - 50 people
  • Whytegate Park - 50 people
• No large group picnics are allowed at Balzer, Old Mill, Memorial, or Rivershire Parks
• No picnicking is allowed at Florsheim Nature Preserve - including the North Park and Old Mill Woods additions to the Florsheim Nature Preserve
• No large group picnics are allowed at Spring Lake Park from May 1st through October 30th
