Picnics, Cook Outs, and
Canoe Trips
If you are
thinking of
having a picnic during the summer,
consider using
one of the
Village Parks.
Maximum number of people
are listed in
parenthesis. Small group picnics
(30) are allowed at Spring Lake,
Balzer, Old Mill and Memorial
Parks. Small and large group
picnics are allowed in the North
Park concession area (200), North
Park Pavilion (40), Bicentennial
Park (50) and Whytegate Park (50).
Spring Lake Park and North Park
have large grills available for use.
In addition, Spring Lake has a fire pit and North Park has a
fire place – each available for use.
The Village has a canoe rack at
Rivershire Park where Village
residents may store their canoes for
a week or all summer. There is a
small usage fee but it makes it very
convenient to carry your canoe to the river and store it quickly
when
you are done.

and Policies page for
