side of Route 22 as they try to complete the
mainline and intersection improvements, The contractor will be
performing construction at some of the Tollway

close attention to the posted signage, as traffic
patterns will change due to this construction activity.

traffic from Stage 2 to Stage
3 of the project. This stage will focus on construction of the
center medians along Route 22, The eastbound and
westbound traffic will be pushed to the outer lanes and turn
lanes will be opened up to allow traffic to flow more
freely, However, during this change over substantial delays can
be expected for the first day or two while
motorists become familiar with the changes.

are highly recommended during these days,

in-place until November 6, 2009, Based on the
most recent project schedule, the completion date remains mid
to late December, with no carry-over construction into 2010.
