Engineering

The Public Works Department has a Professional Engineer on staff to provide engineering expertise and knowledge without the need to hire outside consultants. The functions undertaken by the Engineering Division include:

• Review of all new subdivisions and site improvements plans.

• Preparation of many of the Village's Capital Improvement programs including water main replacement, street rehabilitation, sanitary sewer replacement and storm sewer projects.

• Provide engineering inspection for the construction of all public facilities in new subdivisions to ensure compliance with Village Codes.

• Manage the Village's floodplain and floodway program.
