Information Regarding Hexavalent Chromium (Chromium-6)
Recent news reports have raised the issue of Hexavalent
Chromium (Chromium-6) being present in Lake Michigan drinking water.
The
Village of Lincolnshire's potable water from Lake Michigan is
processed by the City of Highland Park. The water is tested annually
in accordance
with EPA requirements. The City of Highland Park reports that
Chromium has not been detected in our water. For more information,
